The IT4ALL Network of Local Authorities for the Information Society established by municipalities, cities and regions, local authorities associations and networks served as an instrument for the participation of local authorities in the process of the World Summit on the Information Society. The IT4ALL decentralised cooperation network is a communication platform for local authorities, open, inclusive, solidarity, based on a free joining commitment, complementary with other existing initiatives and consequent with the principles and values contained in the Bilbao Declaration of the II World Summit of Cities and Local Governments on the Information Society, Bilbao 2005.

ERNACT – European Region Network for the Application of Communication Technology

ERNACT is an acronym for “European Regions Network for the Application of Communications Technology”. The regions within ERNACT have been working together since 1990 to help decentralise the benefits of the Information Society to regions within the European Union. The network is practical and project driven, and has a successful track record in assisting participating regions to participate in EU cross-border, interregional and transnational information society related programmes and community initiatives including INTERREG IIIB, IIIC and the Framework Programmes. We have long established region-friendly management structures, project development and management systems and a professional and multinational staff team located at our European network administration unit in Ireland. Member regions work together to develop ERNACT into a network of excellence, recognised at EU level, for developing and implementing regional ICT models of development.

FinNetSME – Netowrk for Regional SME Finance

FinNetSME, the Network for Regional SME Finance, is a project designed to encourage an intensive exchange between regional public financiers on how to improve access to finance for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises. FinNetSME gathers partners from all parts of the EU - from Spain in the West to Lithuania and Latvia in the East, from Greece in the South to Finland in the North. FinNetSME will collect and analyse data on regional financing instruments and contact points as well as on public financing structures, support services and schemes in the different regions.

TeleRegions Network (TRN) is an International Non-Profit Organisation of European Regions. Founded in 1997 by key regions from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and the UK, TRN has been actively participating in the filed of Regional Development and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
