TRAINING EVENT IN ROVIGO - ITALY
3 DAYS TRAINING EVENT HAS BEEN ORGANIZED IN VENETO REGION (Italy) FOR RDAs STAFF
The training has been held in the city of Rovigo (Italy) from the 13th to the 15th of October 2010, hosted by the Italian Partner CONSVIPO - Consortium for the Development of Polesine. This training actvity aims at increasing the skills and competences of RDAs staff in innovation issues through a tailored made training package answering to development agents training needs.
Training topics deal with:
- International Project Managemen
- RDAs competences for implementing Regional Programmes
- Rural Development and Innovation in Agriculture
- Res & Rue
- Support for innovation in SMEs (Innovative services for SMEs and Local Stakeholder)
- Innovation governance (Innovation system in public administration)

AsviLoc plus Study Visit to the AREA SCIENCE PARK
The study visit to AREA Science has been held on the 22nd September 2010
Aim of the study visit is to increase awareness and knowledge of RDAs staff through the direct knowledge of excellence cases in innovation governance. Area Science Park, created in 1978, is a First Level National Research Body whose mission is to provide a national reference point for technology transfer and to enhance competitiveness both regionally and nationally. The RDAs representatives visisted two laboratories within the Area Science Park
Basovizza Campus - Synchrotron Light Laboratory ELETTRA
ELETTRA is a multidisciplinary Synchrotron Light Laboratory in AREA Science Park, open to researchers in diverse basic and applied fields. The laboratory is equipped with ultra-bright light sources in the spectral range from UV to X-rays and offers a stimulating and competitive environment to researchers from all over the world (http://www.elettra.trieste.it/)
CBM – Cluster in Biomedicine
Located within AREA Science Park, CBM was founded with the mission of acting as a bridge between Research and Industry in the biomedical sector. It coordinates the Technology District of Molecular Biomedicine of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, established in 2004 thanks to a framework agreement signed and financed by the Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. CBM's aim is to become a leading provider of preclinical and clinical services in Central Europe and beyond. (http://www.cbm.fvg.it/)
III Steering Committe Meeting

The 3rd Steering Committee Meeting has been held in Varna, Bulgaria on the 24th and 25 of June.
All the partners presented the results of the analysis aimed to investigate the diffusion of the innovation in South East Europe Regions and share the first results of the Development Agencies staff exchange aimed to upgrade RDAs compencies and know-how.
